Water Filters for Elkay water coolers WSF6000R, 51300C, 51299C

The Elkay 51299C Replacement Filter (for EWF172) is a replacement filter for the EWF172 filter kit. It is designed to remove cysts, lead particles, and chlorine. It will also remove odors, and improve the taste of the water.The filter features a quick disconnect 1/4 turn installation. It is not necessary to shut the water off to the unit. When the filter is removed the water flow is shut off.

IMPORTANT: The 51299C filter will NOT work with the Elkay ENHANCED Bottle Filling Stations as it does not have the RFID tag necessary to allow the automatic filter reset feature.

1/4 Turn installation. Automatic inlet shut-off valve that closes when filter is removed. Hands never touch the actual filter media and, therefore, limit the potential for introduction of bacteria. Outer protective wrap. Spun Polypropylene prefilter mesh to prevent large, coarse sediment and particles from entering and clogging filter media. High-grade filter is made with activated carbon and patented ATS lead-removal media. Radial flow-thru design provides more surface area for untreated water while final filter mesh prevents loose carbon from entering water.
