World Dryer Model RA5-Q468 recessed, cast iron, hands free automatic hand dryer is ADA compliant and the standard hand dryer for many school and restaurants.
This recessed hand dryer is THE most durable and reliable hand dryer in
the industry, in our opinion. It is large, heavy, and bullet-proof due
to the cast iron cover. Unlike other recessed dryers, this model was
built as it's own specialized unit. In other words, you do not purchase
the surface mounted hand dryer and then a recessing kit to put it into
the wall. The dryer was built to be recessed and comes with the recess
kit as part of the hand dryer package. This hand blower takes about 30
seconds to dry hands - a standard speed and faster than many. It is
also very quiet compared to many. For the same dryer in a high-speed
version (louder) we recommend the World Dryer AirMax RM5Q-974 hand dryer.

Nozzle: This
comes with the standard "Q" nozzle to keep it 4" off of the wall. It is
possible to specail order this dryer with the older "E" nozzle
(RAE-974) or with the standard larger nozzle which is then no longer ADA
compliant (ie 4" off of the wall if in a passageway).
World Dryer Model
RA5-Q468 is the same as RA5-Q468AK (meaning it includes the recess kit -
which they all do so the AK is not necessary) or RA5-Q468AU meaning it
contains the universal nozzle - which they all do.
This hand dryer is the one traditionally specified in McDonald's restaurants (but in a different color).
