The Dyson AirBlade is a high-speed, 10-12 second hand dryer that works differently than any of the other hand dryers that we offer.
The user places his hands down into the dryer, and as he pulls them up, the water is scraped off using thin, high-speed strips of air on both sides. This is a great hand dryer for offices, hotels and many other applications.
A very nice hygienic feature is the HEPA filtration system that cleans the air before it touches the user's hands.
The product, made from polycarbonate-ABS, a strong and flexible plastic used to make riot shields and police helmets, produces over 50% less CO2 emissions during production than the aluminium equivalent.

What cover materials are available for the Dyson Airblade?
The Dyson Air blade AB02 hand dryer comes with a die cast metal cover (aluminum). The color is silver. It comes in 110/120 volts or 208 volts.
The Dyson Air blade AB04 hand dryer comes with a polycarbonate ABS plastic cover. The color options are grey or gray (called "steel" - very similar to the silver color of the AB 02 Dyson hand dryer) or white. The AB 04 Dyson Airblade comes only with the 110/120 volt option.
Is the Dyson Airblade hand dryer ADA compliant?
Yes. Please download the Dyson Airblade Specification sheet above and look at the last page. You will see that the Airblade is both handicapped accessible and meets requirements for placement within the washroom. While most hand dryers must be 4 inches off the wall so that a blind person using a cane will not bump into it, the bottom of the Dyson Airblade is low enough to the ground so that a cane will detect it.
