With a 15 second dryer time, this dryer is perfect for situations where you need to get a lot of people through in a short period of time, such as stadiums and schools. Since it is twice as fast as the model A, it is twice as energy efficient. This hand dryer does not blow the water off of the hands as much as other high speed dryers like the Xlerator, so there is less water-spray in the bathroom. While it is louder than the model A, it is quieter than the Xlerator and similar high speed dryers. That's because this dryer uses a larger opening and so doesn't create the air-hose affect that a dryer with a small opening does.

Cover Material:
1) Cast iron with porcelain enamel – white. This is the number one choice for vandalism - bullet-proof and the enamel finish is virtually scratch proof

2) Stainless steel – either brushed or polished. This is also very vandal resistant (particularly the brushed version, which hides small scratches) Stainless is also beautiful, elegant and the easiest material to keep clean.

3) Stamped Steel – white. Steel is very durable and a great alternative to cast iron as it is lighter and less expensive.

4) WorldStone – thermoset polymer. This polymer was developed for the automotive and aerospace industry where lightweight was required in high temperature settings. It is very durable and light scratches can be buffed out. In the long run, this material could look better than steel. It will never rust! World Dryer offers this in 4 standard colors: white, black, beige and granite grey. Only available in surface mounted, automatic versions.

Nozzle settings: The AirMax is comes with a fixed nozzle. It is a Universal Nozzle and so could be adjusted to swivel during installation using an Allen wrench. However since this is a high-speed dryer, World Dryer does not recomend it be used to blow air in the face. Therefore the wrench is not included.

Recessed settings:   For an ADA compliant AirMax that is 4" off the wall, select a recessed mounted dryer. These dryers all come with the new "Q" nozzle. Model numbers are therefore RM5-Q975, XRM5-Q974, etc.

Recessed dryers come together with the wall box that must be installed first into the wall. Cover options are cast iron and the new stainless steel (automatic only). Stainless model numbers for 115 volts are DXRM5-Q973 for brushed stainless and DXRM5-Q972 for polished. For 208/230 Volts, use DXRM54-Q972 and DXRM54-Q973.

Limited Warranty: 10 years, 5 years on the sensor, 5 years on the motor and 3 years on the replaceable motor brushes.
